I’m Murnau Den Linden—a time passenger, an observer, a color alchemist, an storyteller.
I create to uncover stories hidden in the cracks of time, blending memory with the energy of the present. My work exists where science, social justice, and psychology intersect, telling new versions of myths, reimagining forgotten identities, and shaping how we understand the world. It's about more than just the visuals—it’s the way the past and present collide to create new meanings.
There’s a whisper of ancient civilizations in everything I do, but it’s mixed with the raw energy of expressionism and the daring spirit of the Spanish masters. The result is a space where time and space seem to bend—where conflict and harmony collide and where control feels both infinite and fleeting.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across borders and oceans, leaving my mark in cities like Barcelona, Madrid, London, Miami, and NYC. Working with brands like Adidas, Meta, and Netflix has shown me that art isn’t just something you see; it’s something you feel. It breathes—it moves, connects, and transforms.
“Art isn’t just about reflecting the world—it’s about changing it.”
My Journey
Where It Began
In Córdoba, Spain, I learned that lines aren’t just boundaries—they’re beginnings. Graphic design was my first conversation with the visual world, but it quickly grew restless, wanting to speak in ways beyond the page.
Cities That Shaped Me
Barcelona brought me pure creative energy—its streets hummed with inspiration. London showed me how to tell stories within bigger ideas. Madrid grounded me in my roots and reminded me of the weight of tradition. Each city left its mark, each one teaching me something new.
The Myth and the Machine
In the digital world of Tate Modern and the street art energy of Wynwood Walls, I found the tension that drives my work: the ancient meeting the cutting-edge. AI became a tool—not for shortcuts, but for creating something lasting, something that transforms the fleeting into the permanent.
Moments That Matter
In the Galleries:
From the quiet independence of Sala Nómada to the bustling energy of Starfish Gallery, I’ve found ways to make art a conversation. Every space has its own rhythm.
In the Streets:
Miami’s urban walls and Newcastle’s gritty streets became places where art is less about the object and more about the encounter.
With Brands:
Adidas wanted movement; Netflix wanted a story. Together, we blurred the lines between art and commerce, turning campaigns into something deeper—stories people could step into.
What’s Next
The journey is endless, but Zürich was the latest stop. In 2024, Beletage Art Space hold a few pieces of what I’ve created—a moment where my past and future collide.
And there’s so much more to come.
Best,
Murnau
