My practice investigates identity, nature, time, memory, and space, alongside the shifting relationship between humanity and technology. Recent work focuses on the tension between analog and digital processes, and on the physical and ephemeral traces left by migration and transit.
The work begins with a direct and physical relationship between the hand and the image. Rather than illustrating predetermined ideas, forms emerge through gesture, allowing meanings to unfold gradually. Sketches often start as intuitive explorations that later develop into paintings, where reflection becomes a second stage of the process: the moment of interpreting what intuition has produced. Through this approach, painting becomes both a site of discovery and a method for articulating experiences of displacement, presence, and transformation.
